Join Us! Here’s what you need to know:

Word count: Unlike some other ADD enabling blogs, long-form blogging doesn’t scare us, but generally please stay under 1500 words because the editors are swamped. You can submit posts with longer word count, but do so knowing that we may pass on it.

Mood: Inclusive, accessible, open-minded and generally positive, although we welcome posts that are not positive if they approach an honest exploration of emotional life. Browse around and see what we’re all about.

Original Writing and No Photographs: We ask that posts submitted be unique and original to DTAB. We do not accept posts that have already been published elsewhere online (not even on your personal blog) or that you plan to distribute elsewhere. Do not include photographs unless they have been taken by you and have a direct relevance to an autobiographical post. We will add our own imagery for the main page in keeping with our *look* and we are very conscious of copyright issues. You are welcome to reblog what you’ve written to your own blog after it’s been submitted here first.

Acceptance: As we do not pay our writers or compensate for posts, we happily include your brief bio containing links to your website, Facebook, Twitter accounts, which we will promote when your post goes live. Please keep your post byline to 2-3 sentences and your main bio on our “Authors” page will be approx. 6-7 sentences and edited by our editors. If we like your philosophy, DTAB wants to support what you’re doing and our contributors can leverage their posts into their own growth, as we make an effort to grow ourselves; we’ll all get to the other side of the shore together by helping one another along. To date, our blog is very young (3 months old) and applying daily averages we currently reach about 100,000 readers per year– this will be growing extensively, so join us early.

We will not accept SEO-driven submissions and submissions that are not in line with our philosophy: If you work for a SEO farm or write articles for the primary aim of linking keywords in an effort to boost SEO, we are not interested. If your submission or bio promotes business that is not in line with our philosophy (e.g. magical pills for erectile dysfunction), then don’t waste your time.

By submitting to DTAB you acknowledge that you accept our terms, and any form of editing that might occur on behalf of the DTAB editorial team.

What are we looking for?

— We try to give our readers content about  self-help, wellness, recovery, and motivation that is informative, inspiring, entertaining, humorous and carefully irreverent. We are not afraid to take a unique or paradoxical approach, for example: “5 Easy Steps on How to Be Unhappy”

— We are interested in helpful posts with how-to, pragmatic, actionable tips or surprising facts, such as “5 Reasons Why You Need Sleep,” or “10 Tips for Coping with Your Mother-in-law.”

— We are also looking for occasional music reviews, unique perspectives on how music may have changed your life, inspired you, how you interpreted music as a form of self-help.

— We love personal stories about your recovery journey. Did you discover that you’re allergic to dairy and it causes sinus infections? Did meditation improve your weight lifting skills? Did you have a unique spiritual awakening? Share your experience, strength and hope with our readers.

Guidelines & Tips:

— If your post contains links, please search DTAB before linking to outside sources, as we have a growing body of information that might be just what you’re looking for. We’re cool with sharing other great resources, that said, all links will be reviewed by editorial team and removed if they do not fit with our philosophy.

— If you’re including links, please note them in brackets after the appropriate text, like this [http://www.ducttapeandbubblegum.com]. Please do not insert a hyperlink– we’ll do that.

— Please send your post in the body of the e-mail message. If you’re using Word, for example, you’d copy from Word and paste the text into your email.

While we cover a ridiculous range of topics, DTAB is just a couple of editors and a few writers. As such, it is not possible for us to thoughtfully respond to and correspond with everyone, that means we will not reply to all submissions, but we honor your contribution and we will carefully read each submission that we receive. If your post has been accepted, we generally respond within a couple of weeks.

You’re welcome to submit again with a different post after you’ve waited a couple of weeks. If you harass us, unfortunately we’re not those folks who are susceptible to the squeaky wheel philosophy– we’ll ignore any harassment; our aim is to bring wellness into the world and we hope that it is your aim, too.

Is that cool with you? Please email us the following if you’re ready to submit your post:

Your full post with a working title. Please send this within the body of an email or in a word document.

Your brief bio (less than 200 words) with links to your site, Facebook, Twitter, pages. Again, please put any relevant links in brackets. A fun, cool, hip headshot or photo of you that you’d like to use for you bio.

Please submit your post to ducttapebubbleblog@gmail.com

Remember that if your post is accepted it might require editing which can include copy, title, and images. By submitting to DTAB you acknowledge that you accept any form of editing that might occur on behalf of the DTAB editorial team.

  1. Make sure you put your keyword in the web page title, first
paragraph and once or twice in the main body.
Wouldn’t it be easier if we could be able to save changes ourselves whenever we want. Once safely at Thebes, though, the obelisks were brought to the temple at Karnak with much fanfare.

  2. All they need to do is to enroll with their name, email, contact number and country and vemmabuilder will cater
to the particular country of the person. Rather, they’re designed to help spark possibilities in your own mind. Once safely at Thebes, though, the obelisks were brought to the temple at Karnak with much fanfare.

  3. Horizontal Siding and Vertical Sliding refers to the
outer layer of a wall, with shingles or boards or gaps subtly angled to shed water.

It won’t take you extremely long to work out what way to employ it. You wont get a true imitation of your signature with this Android app, unless you can cleverly manipulate the mechanics behind its operation, but that is highly unlikely.

  4. Sometime, somewhere, back in the 1970s, Ron Livsey inherited a 1947 Teardrop trailer from a grizzled old
prospector buddy of his. It weighs five pounds, less than a four-season tent, and consists of a form to build blocks of snow.
