Though we’re pretty focused on our own content, we like to practice what we preach and what we preach is building connection with others, having gratitude, indulging in happiness and success, and being capable of RECEIVING the grace that we’ve been given… whether that grace come in the form of family, friends, good health, success, gifts or even BLOG AWARDS.  Our ability to receive with a generous spirit is just as important as our ability to give. So in receiving our nomination for the Liebster Award we’d first like to show our gratitude to Peace, Love and Country Music.

Now without further ado… we have to answer some questions. The editors shall answer for the collective as we are a team of 8 people with interests and skills as diverse as making an animated movie about a pregnant mother on an apocalyptic death train to making bright felt jumpsuits for acorns.

This is what we’ve been asked to answer…

What is your favorite season? There are no seasons. The only time is now; the present moment. No, we’re not joking or being flip. This is our answer.

Do you prefer a radio or television? Having to answer this question may create a black hole that results in the end of the universe.  To give you some insight… The DVR is full, and Julie can cite continuity flaws, poor character development and really, could have her own television show about some television shows. Don’t get Brian started about radio because you’ll learn more than you ever needed to know about the four major record labels that oversee radio and that will likely digress into some rock-star-studded tales about the music business in *the 80s* and cookie monster rock bands like Gwar (we warned you).

What appliance could you not live without? Computers. Are they appliances?

What is your favorite single out right now? Yikes! An impossible question. Let us consult with our in house music supervisor (spss ss pss whispering off to the side) Okay, there are four: Call Me Maybe (Jepsen), Wide Awake (Perry), Never Getting Back Together (Swift), and Beautiful (One Direction). One of us is secretly a thirteen year old girl.

You are stranded in an elevator. Who would you not want stuck in there with you and why? We plead the 5th on this one.

Would you rather be a bee or a bird? Bird. Though a yellow and black striped suit seems awesome, birds have a greater range of uniforms.

What is your dream occupation? Brian frequently discusses a wish to be an ambulance driver and one of our authors wants to have a reality show all about themselves in pajamas. But mostly, we’re lucky to already be living our dream jobs.

Do you prefer rain or snow? Snow when it’s fresh, otherwise rain.

Do you prefer to rent a movie or go to the movies? It depends on what we’re wearing.

What is your favorite quote?

Be the change you want to see in the world.
